“Staying in Business: Poultry Basics Revisited”
Staying in poultry business requires updated knowledge and skills in poultry management not only in terms of technical aspects but also of human resources in a constantly changing environment. Good poultry husbandry practices should be combined with other management factors. The reporting of new and re-emerging diseases is dutybound to all veterinarians and concerned citizens in order to control their spread for public health and food safety and for food sustainability and security. Several modern, accurate and rapid biotechnology-based diagnostic methods and innovative poultry management practices have been in place that has helped boost the poultry business and industry. But to optimize further and for profitability, little and small things which when accumulated become a big thing that can affect health and disease balance in the farm.
The Philippine College of Poultry Practitioners, Inc. warmly invites you once again to the annual Poultry School which is now on its 17thyear.For this year, PCPP takes a revisit to the basics of poultry practice and management.
